Hi all,

I just wanted to tell everyone on the forum that the first two chapters of my cycling-related novel "Mensch on Wheels" is online.

Here's the two-line summary:

Split between European pro cycling and his self-destructing family, Moshe Levitz, finds he is racing against the clock on both fronts.

And here's the link to the book:

I'll add the third and possibly fourth chapter this weekend, and provide updates as newer chapters are added.

Thanks. I hope you enjoy it.

Cool - is it semi-autobiographical?

No, pure fiction. I got the idea for it over 20 years ago when I raced an orthodox kid down Fairfax Blvd. in L.A. I was dressed in a kit and he was in his black trousers, hat and jacket, and he stayed with me for miles. So I thought maybe there's a novel in this, which over time has finally come to fruition.

Entertaining - I'll look forward to more chapters.

I grew up in that neighborhood ( and learned to ride a bicycle there ).

Mazel tov!

But 13,000 words for two chapters? Oy!

edit: quick question: any way to d/l it as a PDF? I'd love to put it on my iPad, but I can't find a function on the site for that. I'll try the site on my iPad instead of my laptop, though; maybe that'll do it.
