Oh man, that is terrible.

Hoping he doesn't have any other complications from treatment... It'll be hard enough to come back from a femur injury, guessing he's completely off the bike for a while.

I smell retirement. This would help to the tension inside of the team IMO, just looking the positive side because with that accident he might not come back at the same level again, if never.

He had one of his best classics seasons in a while this year. It was cool to see the trio of seasoned vets still at the top of their games punching it out for the win at the end of the Tour of Flanders.
