Heading down to visit soon and looking forward to (hopefully) riding without dressing up like an Eskimo.
Any suggestions for rides in the area? Any Paceliners who'd like to head out and drop the Mod like a bad habit? :p

Depends on how far/long you want to ride, but there is nice 17-18 mile loop around Jordan Lake. If you ride to the loop, you could probably make it a 40-50 mile trip.

Let me know as well. What little of the Charlotte contingent might make the drive up.
There's tons of routes around Chapel Hill out in farm country.

They're a good bunch and one of the larger clubs in the area, if memory serves. They do some nice rides all over the Triangle.
There's plenty of rollers out there to take the wind out of your sails.
The CBC rides out of Holly Springs are good, every sunday morning I think.

I would be interested. Usually ride in the Falls Lake area north of Raleigh.
Lots of good routes, pretty hilly.
