Hi Folks, I'm looking for:
Campagnolo c-record 6/7sp hubs, low flange. In an ideal world, they'd be laced to Campy rims.
C-record rear derailleur - 2nd generation.
Campy rims...Sigmas or rims appropriate to 87' - 88'. Preferably laced to hubs.
Nitto aluminum albatross/north road bars.

Hey Aaron,
How are you doing? Is this for your latest De Rosa project?
Cheers,
Texbike

Everything but the Nittos...
I should also probably hunt down the right 3ttt bars/stem, but I have some nice Cinellis that should do well.

Thanks Brian, but I think his prices are at optimistic eBay level. I'm hoping for a decent deal, not a steal, for a painless transaction with no marketing. I'm not in a rush where I'd run out and pay top of the market.

Hi Aaron - I believe I have 2 pairs in the garage. If I remember correctly both are laced to Campy silver box section tubular rims. Are you looking for tubular or clincher? How many hole? I've got a super busy night but I will try and check at some point. Also, I have a few ttt stems/bars. Which are you looking for?

Leoner - preferably 32 h might accept 36 if w rims. Please send photos.
On the 3ttt, I'll research as I'm not terribly familiar with their parts.

The first pair are C Record but but only 28 hole. The other pair are Croce D'Aune 36 hole, laced with bladed spokes (hubs are not slotted) to Campy Sigma Strada (http://campybike.com/pdf/1988CampagnoloRim.pdf) rims (Chromium).
Thanks

The bars are the compitizeone model, stem seems to be the 84 record. Prefer bars 42cm.

Apologies in advance for thread hijacking but I didn't know that hubs can come in Italian threading? Is English the alternative? Is the difference in the axle threading or something else/more?
Is this for old stuff or does it apply to modern hubs too?
Thanks!

The threading spec is for older freewheel hubs; freewheels came in different threading also.

English, ISO, and Italian threading are practically identical; Italian is .008" deeper thread cut, but they all are the same pitch and diameter. Unless you're running a tandem, there's no real worry about mix-and-matching them.
Only French is the weirdo and not interchangeable.

Gerrrr - I wish I knew that...I would have bought the pair that Sean was offering.
I'm translating this as meaning I can put English freewheels on italian thread hubs and vice versa.

From what I've read you can do it but it is advised that once you make the switch i.e. from ITA to ENG to stay with that for subsequent freewheels.

Absolutely. Sorry dude! Sheldon talks about it on his page.
I'd heard the don't-go-back-and-forth thing too, but only in reference to headsets which have the same nuances. Unless you're some masher I don't think it's a biggie.
