Anyone take these? Have a brand that you can suggest?

I've seen recommendations for anywhere from 600 - 1000 mg (0.6-1 gram) per day.

I've seen a liquid format as well as capsules.

Any help would be welcome. I'd prefer to not have fish breath, which is something that happens with some of the pills.

not sure if this is what you are asking, but I purchase krill oil, and lemon fish oil (plus a bunch of other items)- from:
http://www.swansonvitamins.com/

they usually have a special for free or 99 cent shipping.

Been taking them for awhile - Not sure if it helps, but psychologically I am addicted.

My cardio doc endorsed EPA 600mg, DHA 240mg. Purchased from The Vitamin Shoppe, labeled Omega 3 Fish Oil. Am I taking the wrong thing, too much of something and not enough of enough? Oh, the horrors. Probably the difference between a DuraAce der and a Ultegra der.

i'm going to prescribe you 1 order of fried calamari at your favorite restaurant and 6 oz of hot-smoked pepper crusted salmon per week. I'm addicted to both :)

i was surprised to learn that calamari has a good amount of DHA in it...but i shouldn't have been since they are the next level up in the food chain from krill. very sustainable for seafood as well.

otherwise, Mead-Johnson manufactures DHA (ie no fish) and markets supplements...for nursing and expecting mothers :)

DHA pills are expensive! calamari is $7/lb at whole paycheck so you know you can get it for less elsewhere.

Oh man! I do love fried calamari, but I'm attempting to eat paleo currently, and can't have breaded calamari.... maybe I'll have a cheat day at some point and have some.

All is not lost though, because I love salmon also!

I found this one excellent value, concentration and purity. It has a slight lemon flavor to it with no fishy after taste. I take 1-2 teaspoons/day or 1 tablespoon when training hard.
