Just had the final fit check up at Smiley's, and my new Bedford Ti Sport Tourer is ready to roll. I posted pix in the custom gallery. Here's just a few as an introduction. Kelly really outdid himself on this one, I just love it.

The orange bits with the brown saddle and tape were a stroke of genius or at least beauty. Man all the bits are perfectly chosen on that bike. Love how the K. Bedford branding is done. That is about the prettiest, classiest, sweetest looking bike I have seen in some time. WOW!

700c wheels, with no toe clip overlap (first time I've had a bike with no TCO). Smiley planned it that way, and it worked! I agree, for a small frame this bike is very balanced looking. Much more so than my two other custom bikes (Serottas--not fit by Smiley).

Gorgeous, how does it ride? I'm guessing it's around a 50cm bike with maybe a 52cm TT?

This has 50.5 ST (effective), and 53 TT, with an 8 cm stem. The first bike I've ever had with no toe clip overlap. Rides beautifully, hope to get it out for a longer trip tomorrow. I especially want to find some dirt and gravel.

Is it my imagination but ever since the thread regarding the popularity of white bikes was on the front page recently, it seems a very large percentage of bikes displayed since that thread appeared are white?

Awesome!

I like the paint, the metallic rear end comes through in the downtube art. Classy.

It's because white bikes are awesome.

I'm pleased that thread turned out to include some nice pictures of white bikes, even though I really intended it to be a discussion of the joys/hassles of owning a white bike.

Love to see the build sheet to better understand how no TCO was achieved!
Beautiful bike!
