Folks,

This has been an amazing bike. It has been my go anywhere do anything bike for the last few years. It was originally built for Matt Dubberly on the Siera Nevada team..we must have been twins separated at birth, as the sizing was perfect for me. I have included the core measurements, but the original xls build sheet is available on request.

As a team bike, this frame has the usual chips, scrapes and bruises. It is NOT a garage queen. I would rate overall condition at a 7/10.

Very cool, and very rare.

Asking $1250 shipped in the US.

Cool bike, but are u sure is a 55?? The head tube is too long for a 55 unless was built with a larger head tube. Like it a lot tho :)

Yup, im sure. build sheet says 55, serial number says 55, rides just like a
55. yes, there is a 1cm ht extension built into the geometry.

The 1st batch of SN bikes that year was designed by Max Testa. They came out with very tall head tubes. Many had to have another bike made with shorter a shorter head tube.

I have a 2005 KGSN ottrott (hayden godfrey's) and to your point, the eTT is 56.0 and the HT is 13.59
the ride is superb as I suspect the OPs is as well

Hi Stephen....I guess I'm curious what the stand-over is, given the HT extension is accommodated in the TT slope and not above the TT/HT juncture, going by the picture here?
As I've gotten older I've shortened my TT to 55cm and I like a HT extension to raise the bars a bit sans too many spacers.....two of my rides have these frame considerations...this looks interesting.
thanks -mack

Folks, had decided to keep it, now have re-decided to sell. There was a ton of interest, but I have deleted those PM's. Sorry.

So, if you are interested and I told you it was likely sold (which it was), or that I had decided to keep it, please email me back...

Its a whole lot of bike for $1250.

Warm regards,

Stephen

Hard to believe an Ottrott at this price still available. And wish you had re-posted ten days ago as it would work and I would have been in touch. Like some others I guess, but purchased another (likely lesser) Serotta frame in between. Yikes!

Guys, I know this is totally lame, but I have just decided to keep this again. I had like 4 people PM me in the last hour. No commit to buy, but just answering the questions made me realize its not really replaceable.

Sorry, ill let everyone know if I change my mind again. :).

Stephen

PS, please buy my other frames for sale!!!

I've had the same situation happen to me...

If it's a bike you really like, selling it can be very tough.
