I don't think I'll be purchasing one of these anytime soon but if I were a city-dweller I might reconsider...

I had a bright idea to give ll bean 100th anniversary swiss army knives to relatives this year for Xmas. I went online to order and saw that they were sold out. I called the store to see if they were getting more. Sorry. Sold out. My wife and i started calling around to stores around the country (about 10-15 stores). Sometimes i was on two phones at once. We managed to round up six.

You should shop around.

I have been going to ll beans for 50+ years. It is the best store ever. I wanted to give the stupd dumb knives to all my relatives. At some point, I wanted one too.

100th. They have a wooden handle and i think they are made by Wenger.

My wife bought me a bunch of those a few years ago for xmas... unfortunately they're shimano HG chains and my trees and bikes only like Campy!

They're really neat though, and were a great little present...

These are cheaper and better looking!;)
