I'm looking for a pair of 650B fenders that will work with the Grand Bois Hetre (650B x 42mm) tire.
Not sure if I'll get any luck here, but it's a worth a shot.

I'm about to buy some "temporary" SKS Longboard fenders for my incoming Ocean Air Cycles Rambler.
Sure, they may say 700x35c tire, but 650b x 42c work just fine.

wood fenders are very cool I suggest look at those
being flat they fit better

These are what I use, am sure there are others:
Berthoud composite 50mm
SKS P45
Velo Orange makes a nice 55mm wide stainless fender. I don't really like the aesthetics of the Honjo-style handware, but it works well

flat fenders are completely worthless, you need the traditional concave shape for them to actually work worth a damn

+1 to that.
I have flat fenders on my light rain bike and it works OK. Keeps your back and feet dry, but your bike still gets dirty. They also tend to have problems when using wide fenders under caliper fenders because the fenders don't follow the curve of the calipers.
I like the 52mm VO 650B stainless fenders.

I heard of some modifying the 700c VO Fenders (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Velo-Orange-700c-Zeppelin-Fender-Set-Polished-Silver-52mm-/130796132952?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e740e9a58) for 650b use.

I have a pair of the 50 Berthouds above Hetres. Tight but functional and I like the look and I have a set of the 52 Velo orange above Hetres on another bike. I'll probably go with the 52's on the next bike (if there is a next bike). A touch more wiggle room and nice fenders to boot.

Folks, thanks for all the advice, but is anyone selling a pair? If not I'll order some Berthouds from Mike Kone @ Boulder Bikes.
