Happiness is...
riding with your son (even when he continues to ask "can we turn around now")

... and stopping at our favorite mandarin orange tree for a snack...

Awesome.
Enjoy it. Before long, he'll be complaining that you aren't going far enough.

I'm waiting for the pair i have to grow old enough to ride w/o stopping at any flower, bird or leaf they find in the row. My little one was riding a bike w/o training wheels at age 2, but they are so easily distracted that I can't take them with me yet, a danger to me and for other people.
Darn road kids bikes are so hard to get...

Nice. :hello:
Big thumbs up! My favourite rides are with my daughter. We don't have a mandarin tree to stop at, but there is an old trestle we call the "spittin bridge" that we always stop on. About 25' down there is a girder that we have a contest to see who can hit it the most. Nothing better!

I rode with my kids when they were young. Lodi, ca. had a great wilderness area and we would ride it. I had my daughter on a child's seat and my son rode his BMX bike. Great times and memories.
Now, we baby sit my daughter's kids and it brings back memories. My 4 yo grandson is kind of a quiet guy. My granddaughter( 9 months ) just can't stop smiling.
As much as I live to ride my Riv Roadeo, it just doesn't compare to kids and grandkids.

Riding with my son, even when I have to ask him to wait for the Old Man at the top of every hill!
