Anyone have the idea to just destroy their savings/retirement before the so-called fiscal cliff falls on us like an ACME anvil, making all we've saved nothing worth being saved?

Or, on the other hand, is this fiscal cliff just a lot of media-boosted B.S.,
not worth getting worked up about?
