I have the previous model of Canon, the S95, and the sensor gives me by far the best images among the several point-and-shoots I have.

While I also like the Panasonic Lumix for its long optical zoom lens, the picture quality is not as good.

Dave, who once in a while sends photo files to Mpix to have good old-fashioned prints made at relatively low cost so that's one reason why image quality matters to him

I have the s95 as well and it is excellent. I picked it up on a similar sale a year or so ago for $200. This is an excellent deal. I bought 2 for family members.

That's a great deal. I guess this will be replaced in February with a new and improved model, but it is a great camera as it is.

I have the S95 and S100, and I would say that the one thing the S100 is better at is video, otherwise they are both excellent cameras. The S110 is due out soon, but even so this is a great deal.
