I am sure a lot of you have already seen this but it is worth sharing for others as this is the strangest geometry I have seen on an actual race bike.

I think a forum member may own this very bike.

I'm pretty sure that Zmudshark is referring to me, but that's not the one that I own. I do have one Steve's bikes:

This was made for Bauer in 91'...it does have relaxed geometry, but not comatose.

even though it looks weird, I like bikes like this. Shows how people tried to push the envelope, innovate, try new things and push the sport forward. some work, some don't.

Neat piece of history, for sure!

I think they should bring front shocks back to PR!!

looks like the wheelbase is much longer more like a touring bike on steriods. maybe greater stability and comfort???? It would be interesting to get comments by the rider after riding the cobblels in the rase.

Not exactly what you'd call kneecap-over-pedal-spindle, is it?

("Relaxed but not comatose", that's funny.)

I guess there's a lot of that going around. Check out www.electrabike.com -- "patented flat-foot technology", can you dig it?

I suspect Eddy cut that one up.

A little farther back and you're riding a recumbent... Just need a that long flag in back!

Bauer never had a beard! (Nor an engineering degree, to my knowledge.)

I'm not sure what they were going for there. Looks awful to me.
