New Rock Lobster coming this winter. What color should it be and why?
Curious and, as yet, undecided,

Candy red......why? Jeff Koons would want it that way.

Plain simple red, because I like red. Plain red is easy to touch up when you get rock chips. It makes a great color to then use the bright yellow backed Rock Lobster name on the down tube.

it depends on what you already have and what kind of frame. I have a white road and a yellow cross. I like red for road and I think the seafoam green is pretty cool for a cross or mountain bike.

If its a road bike blue, if its a mountain bike green. Don't know why but all the bikes that I end up keeping for a long time follow that color rule.

Blue...now we're talking. I like the team color but agree that it reminds me of Bianchi and it goes better with cyclocross. This will be a steel road bike with (mostly) silver alloy parts.

Here is my blue bomber with chorus alloy 10 group. Every road bike I have ever owned with the exception of 1 (and I hated that one) has been blue. I don't know why but I love a blue road bike.

This looks somehow sinister- those two hapless hikers are about to get mowed down like inferior pedestrian vermin.
PS How about something a little different? Dark, brick red in matte, not gloss color. You know- rock lobster color, yellow logos. Would look cool covered with dust and dirt-and chips and patina would blend in to look even better down the road after some abuse.
