I am impressed with those hardy souls biking around the city at 3 AM!

Hardy...drunk...six of one, a half dozen of another.

Absolutely fascinating! Notice how the areas of heaviest traffic change by the time of day and also the length of the trips. Seems like a lot of shorter trips during weekend evening date time.

Also there seem to be some trips that show the rider riding down the middle of the rider and the ride ending there. Hmmm . . .

Cool to see this. I'm always in the city at odd times in touristy areas so mostly see foreigners riding these and wondered how many commuters used the service.

Very cool and informative. I'd love to see this in my home town where the routes and destinations would make more sense. I tend to think any regular users would own there own bike but I guess in a large city it takes one big worry out of the way.....getting your bike stolen!

commute by train to South Station and then jump on my beater to go to work. At times I have seen the dock at South Station almost empty and I see lots of people on the bike lanes riding these bikes. ( around 8 AM I should add )

As for the 3 AM trips, with public transportation shutting down around midnight and cabs are expensive, biking seems a good option even being drunk. :)

I'd much rather have a drunk on a bike than behind the wheel of an SUV!
