Is pretty interesting...no wonder my wheels stop rolling in the mud.

It's my experience that the low cantis offer plenty of braking power. I'll trade power for clearance any day. the best lap I've ever had in a cross was one where I never touched my brakes.

So what kind of brakes should i use? The radius brakes I had had NO stopping power at all. THe old Shimanos I have are ok, but get clogged with mud. Anyone try the new IRD brakes? I just can't afford pauls.

if you need brakes, cane creeks rock.
in cross, when you stop pedaling, you've
already lost much of your speed.
hey - thanks for reading.
