Group rides near St Petersburg, Fla?

San Ann is about an hour north if you want to see rural Florida

The North Shore Pool rides are great 6 days a week. I would stay away on Saturdays though.

Why? Big turnout...breakouts as to speed and ability. There are some squirley riders...but that's a percentage of all large groups.

You might also check Ride-n-Roll cycling. They have some rides out of their shops in Largo and Seminole, but those rides are mostly A riders and faster. Suncoast Cycling (http://www.suncoastcycling.com/) has group rides too, but mostly rides north Pinellas county and that is 20 miles from where you are staying.

The ride up an down the main beach road from Clearwater Beach all the way to Ft Desoto Park (awesome place) is good with a 'bike lane' the entire way.
