I've uploaded some photos from this year's L'Eroica. Currently I have photos from the museum display (sorry, the picture quality here isn't the best) and one from the swap meet. More to come as I sort through them (took 700 photos during our 2 weeks in Italy).

I'll eventually post a write up of the ride too.

Here's the link to my photo album (hope this works)...

Anyway, enjoy.
More to come.

Thanks for posting those.
It's interesting to see someone touching one of the bikes. Imagine if that were a sculpture in a museum, church, or gallery.

What, you didn't recognize Wiggins and Vaughters ? Thanks for sharing John, a couple of those bikes from the museum I would die for.

The L'Eroica museum display was interesting. Outside at the swap meet was all "hustle and bustle" - crowded... But the museum display was nearly empty. Also, like someone mentioned, people would touch the bikes and artwork (my friend Chad actually picked up the bronze relief of Pantani) as if no big deal (and no one seemed to care). There were definitely some cool bikes on display - favorite for me was Coppi's Bianchi - out of reverence I didn't touch it.

And, I could've spent a fortune at the swap meet. There were SO many cool bikes, components, frames... there. Would've needed to ship them back to Colorado in a crate though ! (plus, just getting to Italy cost more than I care to think about).

There's a L'Eroica swap meet?!

I would have to be handcuffed.

Thanks for posting those! May I forward the link to some non-Forum-readers I know will appreciate them?
