This seems like a smokin deal for a new 9 speed 12X25 - what do you guys think? They got some other killer deals also -

A new Shimano HG50 12-25 off of ebay will work just as good (it weighs a bit more) and only cost a third of the DA equivalent.

You could buy a new chain to go with it or a decent set of cables (etc.) for the cost difference... :)

The last four 9-speed cassettes purchased together cost me about $40 on average. But they were Ultegra. The DA price does seem like a good deal if you want DA. In my case Ultegra is good enough. Also prefer the 12-27 over 12-25 so the weight advantage of DA would be a little more, but not enough to justify the added cost for me.

Good Points Guys,

Yeah, I got a 600 cassette on there now and just this summer and fall I've put 8 centuries and thousands of training miles on it......but I want a change since I can't find/buy a Legend ti anytime soon. So I decided to put a little money into the rear wheel and drivetrain to upgrade and lower the weight a tad....I know it's very insignificant, but I'll pay a little more for the that little bit of weight savings and replace the rear wheel and psycosomaticly my brain says lighter, then it's works for me
