Exactly. The common press ignores the fact that HIGH SCHOOL kids are deep into doping for football, wrestling etc. Doctor italian has been caught helping endurance atheletes from other sports. Mark McGwire not only lied in front of congress, his cohorts also lied and they had big smirks acorss their faces when they walked out of the hearings.

But the hyperbole about Lance is not going to die down for a while.

Barry Bonds still holds the HR record in baseball.
guess different sports/athletes are held to different standards.

Hey, leave our batting coach out of your scandal.

He's not here to talk about the past. :p

It's called perspective, or the lack of it.

Doping is cool as long as it's not what ever sport I like.

I don't know of many sports that have a list like this:

That just looks unhealthy. Anyone could climb at that weight. But at what cost?

Very strange as it was a number of pages earlier......

I noticed this at the bottom of the page:

This page was last modified on 23 October 2012 at 12:03.

I always got a kick out of the stories about the football player that put on 30lbs of muscle in the off season. No roids involved in that.

If I had to have that bird chest, that would be enough to make me take a pass on pro cycling.

Well, when you have sports like football and baseball, where you are given over a weeks notice that a test is coming up, they only catch the very dumbest of the dumbest.

I was thinking the same thing.

LeMond on the ideal upper body for a cyclist: "eleven year old girl."

Didn't McGuire plead the "5th"?

That's what I thought too, or the equivalent. He said "I'm not here to talk about the past", several times as I recall.

I don't believe he ever answered their questions regarding PED use.
