A few weeks when I was having a hard time ,
one of my forum mates told me to celebrate
it struck a chord ,It made me think
by some miracle we are all here today alive ,celebrate
What are the odds that we would be here alive at the same time ,celebrate
what is so great?
we can breathe
celebrate
it is a great gift life
celebrate
.these are the best of times ,celebrate
they are real they are now .celebrate
Thanks Malcolm for the insight
Cheers

Fixed I was feeling the same way all weekend as I rode in perfect fall weather at the Shenandoah Valley Fall Foliage bike festival rides out of Staunton VA. The scenery, rolling roads, no traffic, great rest stops--I was thrilled to be alive and well and pedaling through the countryside this weekend. Cheers and enjoy your swims this week!

Fixed if we all started the day with a deep breath and acknowledged how wonderful it is to be alive it would be a better place for us all. I too often forget this myself.
Cheers, celebrate life

Richard Dawkins: "Unweaving the Rainbow":

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here."
