Great pic's, thanks for sharing! Really appreciate the comments too. So many times people post pic's from shows without comment and I feel somewhat lost without info. Great job!

Excellent pics, great comments...and hey...you should submit to a magazine! BTW, those Ahearn's are unbelievable - more so in person. I'd seen an Ahearn's mtn bike on a local trail and I chatted with the owner. He loved the ride and was impressed with the care that was taken to listen to his riding preferences and what he wanted out of a bike. The end result was truely a dream bike.

Thanks for coming out! It was great to say hello (lots of Serotta and other forums members in attendance), and thanks for shooting photos!

A few other photo sets (http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=oregon+handmade+bicycle+show&ss=2&s=rec) from the weekend can be found on flickr.

Austin grabbed this fun one of the texture you mentioned:

Met the man behind Winter bikes and see these beauties in person. So many incredible details on this stem alone!! Picked up that abbey tool. Was really cool to see the mfg jig they brought and the individual raw pieces. I think it's going to be a great addition to the toolbox! The Reynolds 44 head tube was really light too - but tallest length was only 150mm! No good for big and tall guys. As for that DiNucci - pics simply don't do it justice.

DeSalvo wasn't in attendance, neither was Vanilla nor a number of other Oregon builders. I have a feeling cross season may have gotten in the way.

As a point of information, our metro area, Portland that is, has at least 25 custom frame builders. That's just the Portland area and doesn't include guys like Slawta, DeSalvo, Anderson etc etc who are based outside Portland around the state. I'm not sure what the total count is for the entire state but it's a shockingly high number of builders. It's very cool to hop on your bike and ride around town past all the shops. It's a great little "tour" if you're a bike geek. That 25 number also doesn't include bikes like the Velo Cult which is made in Boulder and sold here along with all the carbon import guys we have in town as well as all the cargo bike guys.

A titanium Cielo would've bumped them to the top of my list. They said they would one day do it, but I guess it is a year or two off as of yet.
