Thanks to Old Potatoe (x2), Kid Wok, MisterMo, and several others here, I now have this, and it rides like a dream. I hope to race it next fall/winter, Cosmic Muffin and titanium body parts willing.

Just a set of 700 x 32 Paselas. Road/training wheels.

Just got to take my first real road ride on it. Oh my Dog I love this bike. It's everything my '83 Waterford crit bike wasn't. It's stable, comfy, noticeably stiff(er) through the BB and it climbs like a CX missile. Still need to sort some stuff out (seat position, etc) and need to get used to having the hoods higher, but overall, it's brilliant.
Oh...and the tires?...Once you go fat, you'll never go back.
