I just purchased a slightly used Gary Fisher Cronus frameset, and am working through the process of picking parts to put on it. Most of the decisions are easy for me, but I am stuck on the crankset. I am a Campy guy, so my initial response is to use an UltraTorque crankset. However, the idea of locktite-ing a set of cups into the frame has me a little uncomfortable. What if I want to install a different sort of crank later, or if I want to sell the frame to someone who is not into Campy, it sounds pretty painful to remove the cups. So, if I discount UT cranks, I am left with Shimano and SRAM. I am a little scared about Shimano because I hear about problems with BB noise because of poor fit between the bearings and the cups. SRAM also seems to have complainers about crank/BB noise, although I have not heard this about BB90. So, I guess my question is what is the best/most reliable crank options for BB90 frames?

Thanks,
Scott
