I was just reading a blog about Bruce Gordon and there was a link to the entire book, "The Custom Bicycle" by Michael J. Kolin and Denise M. de la Rosa.

Thought I'd share this blast from the past:

Enjoy, all.

had no idea trek was that old.
anyone know why women were used to braze at schwinn (just the $, steady hands, repetitive focus?)?

i wonder where my nose is relative to handlebar...I may be spending money on fitting for no reason

"Lucille and Wanda have
been brazing Paramounts for more than 25 years and they do an
extraordinary job"

I may be wrong, but I'm not sure I'd read into it. They were good at what they did.
