I was really looking forward to going but some family stuff came up and I'll have to look forward to April.

i was there today. i held one of the nicest frames i have ever put my hands on, and cursed the fact that it was a few cm's too big for me. great event. tons of bike geeks like myself wandering around, and some very nice stuff changing hands. was my first time to the swap meet, lots of fun.

ira ryan cyclocross. it was beautiful. unscientifically speaking, it was the lightest steel frame/fork combo i have ever held. someone snatched it up very soon after i checked it out, and they got a hell of a bike, IMO.

Nice. Too bad it didn't fit. Did you really "need" another cross bike, though? Ira's bikes don't come up for sale all that often. Good stuff. I can see why it was disappointing.

oh, of course not. i have never seen one in the steel before though, and really just wanted to ride it. alas, a bike that doesnt fit, really can bring no joy. i hope the new owner rides the hell out of it.
