what do you recommend gluing or tapping ?

in the later case what kind of tape do you use ?

If you ask 5 people this question, you will get 5 different answers. It seems like everyone has their own special way of doing it. I found this to work well.

Tape alone is not sufficient, and tufo tape is definitely not a good choice. Belgian tape with glue is darn near permanent but that's not a bad thing for cx.

Glue a lot of tubies, as does my neighbor for his cross wheels, Michael Robson, neither of us have ever used tape+glue, never had a tire roll. Both work if done right, put 3 people in a room, ask about this, get 4 opinions.

I just read that, thank you for the link. Two observations, 1.) how can anyone look at that mess with the Clement glue and conclude that the tires were glued properly?, and 2.) in regards to Tufo tape, the biggest complaint with it is that it's too hard to get a tire off, certainly not the case in their study.
