What brand of bibs have you tried that uses a chamois that has no thread ridges. My Assos are OK but I am always looking for something better.

Many thanx,

The Discente and new Pearl, from what I understand, come extremely close to the Assoss on material. The fit is somewhat different and a friend of mine finds that they do not fit him as well as the ASSOS.

Bergamo's Top line Bibs are cheaper than Assos FI:13 and use the same type of elastomeric Cham (probably the best Cham ever created).

They have no seams in the surface of the Cham (and the Cham is molded without heat, so no hard spots or ridges in the foam) and are just as comfortable. They are also ver well made (I have three pair of each (Assos and Bergamo) and the Bergamo are actually holding up better than the Assos (which are failing at the edge seams, but only after a LOT of use).

Second the Etxe-Ondo.
puts me in mind of Real chamois.
BicyclingHub had some older stock of Exte, send an
e-mail to Doug and ask him about them as they are
no longer on the website.
