I'll start:
DaVinci Tandems. - Their name belies the fact they have made a custom crank for yrs. The crank is CNCd to 400grams (no rings) with an outside - outside Q factor of 158. Lengths from 160-180 and EVERY conceivable BCD. Square taper too!!! The spider is replacable and I've never heard or know of any to break, creak or otherwise have an issue.
AND, DaVinci makes these very clever cable splitters which are super for creating that Frankenstein by day Boy Racer by night bike you're dreamin' of.
