Turbomatic owners. old vs new chime in

Looking for input on the new Selle Italia turbomatics vs the old style (the one I'm very familiar with) Anyone here owned both and can comment on comfort, etc. By new, I mean the only kind they sell or have sold for the past two or three years vs the old style popular in late 80's and 90's.

The forum search engine is your friend. I've been riding a Turbomatic Team Edition for the past two years. Now that my posterior is used to it, I like it better than the earlier versions.

I have a new one as well. They aren't that much different than the old (which was a favorite of mine). I too like it a bit better than the old ones.

I think the current models are very similar to the original Turbomatic; the 2's onward were different so it is hard to say just old/new. I loved the original, rode them for 15 years; I didn't get along with the 2 model.. I get along fine with the Gel Team current saddle.
