I went six times last week tried tai chi twice that didn't work out to well gave me a headache
Swam everyday six times for an hour each time tethered so I can keep my eyes close the high light of my week . Mrs fixed and I did a fitness evaluation ,mrs fixed says I can't do sit-ups ..haha she did more than anyone in her age group except one other person . She is very strong .Me I have lance 's heart  (low rate) the lowest ever recorded by the trainer and I don't have to loose any weight ,I think I still could loose five -ten pounds though ,bad news 12 % body fat ugh !! I thought about when I used to be 6 % ..the trainer seem to think 12 was very good so I guess I am happy :). My favorite class is yoga I can keep my eyes shut the music is soft and relaxing lights are dim..very relaxing and harder than I thought . No spinning the music is too loud and well I am kind of competitive
Mrs fixed said no to that one .
Well that was my week at the Y. It is nice to have somewhere to go to everyday ....I think
Cheers

At first I thought you were quoting a Smiths tune.

Fixed, you're in amazing shape. During my gym rat days, I was at 10% body fat. When I got serious about cycling and decided I didn't need to look like Lee Haney, I finally got into the single digits. 4% last time I had it checked. Short story long, if I can be at 12% in my um, 50s or 60s, I'll either be a shut-in who avoids all the pleasures in life (food and wine, that is) or a lucky dude such as yourself.

I'd be happy with 12% body fat right about now.

Swimming and yoga: both are fantastic for fitness (mind and body) and sound peaceful for you as well.

Good for you, Butch.
Sounds like your Mrs has found a way to start you back into (im)polite society.
Keep it up.

Thanks it was the encouragement form my forum mates that got me thinking about ways to work around my problems instead of dwelling on them so much ,
Then mrs fixed surprised me with the memberships when she saw me trying to exercise again ,
Big thank you to all you guys for all the wonderful positive energy .
Cheers I owe the forum a lot IMHO :)
