Congratulations Geoff! Hoping for a healthy baby for you. As Bill Cosby once said, you're now going to be parents. I believe that he didn't consider parents of 1 or 2 children to be real parents, because the children did not out number you.

Thanks Matt...I've heard going from a man to man Vs. zone defense is an adjustment. I believe it.

We just found out we are expecting #3 as well about that same time. Will be good to compare note with someone else along the way. We currently have a 3 year old and a 2 year old so we will have 3 in 4 years. Really who needs sleep... or anything in the house that is not completely covered in kid stains?

We really are close to being in the same boat....4 & 2 year old. I used to be really anal about keeping things clean...not so much now :help:

I now know why parents never buy anything new until the kids go off to college. Our 3 and 2 y/o already eat like adults so between the cost and their incredible ability to make a mess I have consented to the reality that new household items are complete non-necessities for the next 15-20 years. Cleanliness... well that word has been completely redefined in our house.

Congrats to you and your wife Geoff. All the best to y'all. When we found out one got past the keeper...it turned out 2 ended up getting by. Twins. We were completely speechless, literally, we could not speak for 3 or 4 minutes as were were seeing them on the sonogram monitor for the first time. It was meant to be and we wouldn't change it. Our oldest little gator is 5, sister is 3 and the twins are now 14 months. You never know man...twins plus two...just sayin'.

Let me know if you head over this way to G'ville for homecoming. I will likely also be up there. Do let me know. All the best to you guys. More wonderful memories are on the way mate.

Congratulations Geoff and Mrs. Geoff! Great news. Chiming in with previous poster, both my mom (back in 1959) and my colleague (3 years ago) were "surprised" at not only a third child--but at the news that #3 was actually going to be #'s 3 AND #4! Yeah, twins baby! My brothers just turned 53 and my colleagues' little boys are now 3.
