I have the chance to buy a beautiful and barely used 2006 Serotta ti Legend frame and Q carbon fork for $1200....it's local so I can check it out before purchasing.
It's a 58cm ST, 57cm tt and 15cm HT

I'm 6'2 and 200lbs.....what do you guys say - I don't race but ride alot of Centuries. Any concerns I'm missing??

What size frame are you currently riding, does it fit you well, and how does it compare to the Legend?

Having said that, I'd guess that a 58 is too small for a 6'2" guy. Of course if you have shortish legs, the saddle to BB might be OK, but if that's the case you must have a very long torso, and I would think that the 57 TT would be short.

I'm 6' even with long legs and a short torso. My off-the-shelf frame is a 60ST and 58.5 TT. Custom it is 61 ST and 58 or shorter TT.

Caveat: I'm not a fitter nor do I play one on TV.

No. Unless you're a UCI pro who likes a very long stem and am aggressive drop, that bike will be too small.

Here's another vote for NO, even though the only useful spec you provided is your height.

We can start talking at 60cm.

I agree with others here, pass this one by because its not likely going to fit. If you want a Serotta my advice is to go new. I believe their new line is more competitively priced and you will get one that fits.

The bike would fit me well, and I'm 5'11" with average proportions. I ride bikes with top tubes of 56.5 to 57.5cm. Too short for you unless you have a long torso and short leg combination.

It depends.
I am 6'2", but at the other side of 50, my 60cm frames don't fit too well. I have been riding a shorter top tube La Corsa (I think it is about a 56cm c-c) for about 6 years now.

One thing a fitting will do is show you what sizes work for you

Are you sure that its only a 15cm headtube? I am just under 6' 2 and ride a similar tt and st, but most headtubes of those size frames are at least 17.5cm..

Go to a fit person and have him decide if it will fit you, by doing a fit with you on the bicycle. Height/inseam mean little. Femur length, torso/arm length, flexibility mean a lot.

BTW-and this isn't any kind of recommendation, but I ride a 58cm Merckx, 57.5 top tube, 11cm stem and Im 5'11".

What BT and the others say...the ht sounds like it's on the short side in relationship to the other dimensions.

Is the HT measurement center to center? I ride a 58 comfortably at 6'2". My Serotta has approx. 19 cm HT, but 2 cm, or so, of that is above and below the top and down tubes. Maybe you can buy it conditionally that it must fit after being built.

We've had this discussion before. If you are happy with the toptube length, a 58 cm st is fine. Did you ever go to a shop for a real bike fit ( I'm not talking about standing over the TT while some highschool kid eyeballs you)?

If so, what is the reach that you were told to look for?

Why don't you go ride the bike and see if you're ok with the size?

This just isn't right. I'm just shy of 6'3" and ride a 58-59 cm st and a 58.5 TT. It's all about proper reach and headtube length, especially with compact framesets. A smaller frame is stiffer and better handling. You can extend out the seatpost if you need to.

Granted, I rode a 60+ cm bike 15+ years ago when the aluminum quill stems over 10-11 cm were too flexy to use. But now, stems of 12-13mm are fairly typical on larger frames.

Wow. How tall is your HT?

Off the top of my head, 17.5cm. I do not have excessive amounts of drop (its relative), and use one 5mm spacer under the stem. For my height, I am fairly long waisted, and have an inseam (jeans) of 34". My saddle height, measured from center of the BB shell to middle of the saddle (above seatpost clamp), is roughly 80cm. Along with my 58.5 cm toptube, I use a 120mm stem and Richey bars with a decent amount of drop and reach. BTW, my bike is a Lynskey 420 that is custom, but the top tube is only 1cm longer than stock.

The OP needs to get properly fit for a bike before he tries to shop. None of us can tell him if a bike fits without seeing him on it and addressing issues such as flexibility, previous injuries, riding experience, use the bike is to be put to, etc.

Agreed.
