WASHINGTON — Two veteran members of Congress introduced bipartisan legislation Friday that would increase Congressional oversight of the United States Anti-Doping Agency, including forcing the agency to provide annual summaries of its enforcement activities
Representatives F. James Sensenbrenner Jr., a Republican from Wisconsin, and John Conyers Jr., a Democrat from Michigan, sponsored the bill. They said it would bolster athletes’ due process protections regarding the antidoping agency’s adjudication of doping cases.

Senssebrenner and Conyers are both tools and the continuing efforts of Pharmstrong to exert political influence is going to backfire. Now, you can bet that USADA will issue an incredibly comprehensive report that justifies its actions and is a unassailable condemnation of Pharmstrong. You would think that politicians would steer clear and await the USADA's report before inserting feet into oversized mouths.
