This past week nearly 100 members of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and close friends rode in memory of the 343 members who lost their lives on 9/11. In keeping with the spirit of the FDNY, the ride raised money not for their own but for wounded warriors. Beginning at Ground Zero with a private memorial service and continuing to Montauk (with an overnight stop) the ride was inspirational to say the least. The riders and support crew were amazing as was the support received in each town we rolled through.
Not enough can be said about a group that sacrificed so much yet focuses their efforts helping our wounded warriors.
