Where does one post appraisal inquiries in this forum? Thanks!

Generally one doesn't

If you are trying to determine a price for selling we've had those discussions at times but they tend not to be very productive. Too mnay varied opinions.

Beyond that I am not sure what you mean by "appraisal". For an insurance claim? to determine the value of something vintage?

Research on the internet in Classifieds sections or eBay can be helpful if you are looking to sell something.

To determine a price for selling

You can always post it at a silly-high price and read all the experts telling you you are dreaming and a robber to boot.

Then you can list it for a silly-cheap price and listen to all the experts telling you you are a fool to give it away for so little.

None of these people have any interest whatsoever in buying it so I would take a look at old classifieds for what info you can glean from prices there. Some folks delete the price from the listing after the sale but it you sent them a PM asking for help pricing a similar item they might tell you about their sale prices. The ones that failed to sell will help you too.
