My cycling club ride director states he is a USA level 3 cycling coach and a League cycling instructor. Does this mean he coaches people like Lance Armstrong or a 300 lb obese cardiac victim that was told by his Doctor he needs to lose some weight and the last time he was on a bike was in 5th grade.

"The level 3 coach is the entry level certification. Coaches complete a home study course and take an exam. Level 3 serves as an introduction to coaching cyclists."

Guess that means he passed a test.

Yup, it means he passed a test.

I found that test to be ridiculous. Full of over-specific, under-useful information.

Nothing worse than a fair value coach, beholden to FASB.
