Late last nite I got to thinking about all the carbon stuff that's out there and tried to pinpoint someone to blame. Not saying that carbon is bad by any means but hey, It sure is nice to see shiny things out there once in a while. Then it kind of hit me on my first carbon component purchase. Campy record nine speed shifters. I mean I practically couldn't sleep until the group arrived. Sure there were some odds and ends out there but to me that was when the boom hit. ahhhhhhh......1998 wasn't it great :banana:

oh and i'll never part with my modolo carbon downtube shifters just in case

Their carbon shifterd broke all the time. The name of the group was Kronos, but most people who had them knew 'em as "Oh no!"
