I finished reading Tyler's new book and was just wondering if there were examples of the actual training plans that Ferrarri wrote for his clients floating around?

It's like these are more closely guarded than the doping practices used to enhance the training. I was just curious because even today, power certified USAC coaches and the like are mostly doing what Tyler had described doing before the Ferrarri plan which was primarily focusing on hours and intervals. There is more science on the power analysis these days in determining short to long term planning these days I know but it seems like even without the doping aspect, Ferrarri was ahead of his time on the training end of things.

I would have been really curious to see in depth what his training loads were leading up to the events that defined his career like the Liege win and the Giro and Tours.

that website is entertaining. in between articles on training he throws in some stuff about how innocent he is of all the doping 'accusations.' it is sad that there are amateur clowns that think they're cool because they pay a real live famous doping doctor to be their "online coach."

Yes, wow that site is interesting. I hadn't seen it until today. I'd be willing to bet he's busier than ever training people who have $ and want to be associated with his infamous name etc etc. Not joking!

I am not sure but I am also not sure that what he was doing with athletes would work as well with people that are not doped to the gills.

Starving yourself and getting stronger and stronger are not things you can do as a natural cyclist. The training would likely just about kill a normal less gifted less doped individual as well.

I got the impression from the book that Lances famous pedal stroke had a lot more to do with maximizing the doped blood than it did with normal physiology. I remember studies showing that lower cadence was actually more muscularly efficient.

I would just go with Charmichael. Oh wait NOT :)
