Some interesting comments here. It really is amazing how fast this took off.
Minute 1:30 – 1:50 is probably the most "interesting" part. ;)

Sounds like you were a driving force in opening the eyes of the market to this option... Respect!

Thanks for the kind words... it's been a long road, but it is starting to pay off.
Another good review of our TL28 rim. Not 650b, but you get the idea.

I have a feeling my next bike will be a 650B full suspension.

I think the most interesting part are the astoundingly negative comments. But then I've been riding 650B road bikes since 2005, so I guess I just don't understand why I should be so offended by wheel sizes :)
I don't have a MTB now, but I want one, and it makes perfect sense for it to be 650B.

I've been riding a 29er hardtail now for a few years and love the rollover, but can't stand a 29er full suspension for the fact that its just too long of a bike to squeeze through a lot of lines. I look foward to having 120mm of travel front and rear and not having too long of a bike. For a lot of my riding I'd rather be on a 26" bike so I'm hoping 650B is going to be a good compromise. It might even make me give up my 29er hardtail

I was a big proponent of 29ers back when there were only hard-tails. Once FS bikes became the norm, (from a designer's pov) it became harder to reconcile the wheel size with (imo) sound frame design principals.
That said, I've been on a 650b FS for almost four years, and I've never been faster.

Pardon the ignorance (especially if you've dealt with this elsewhere), but as an ignorant roadie, what do you see as the primary advantages of 650b over a typical 26" or 29" MTB wheel?

Been on a 26er HT for years. A 26er is my primary race machine. I do want a 650b and one will probably be my next mtb for sure. I have wanted one for a while as one of my mates has been a convert for some time...just dont have the xtra dinero right now...

At the risk of over-simplifying it, it's basically the best of both worlds... In fact, it's better.
