Its just so astoundingly alien to me, even as someone who used to putter around on the local trails. I have a deep, deep respect for the guys who do this kind of stuff.

First time I tried that over a table top like that, I'd die. I'm sure of it.

It's nuts, but those guys (and gals) have been doing that on their BMXs since they were 5 years old and had a plywood ramp on a 4x4 in the driveway...

Well, I don't go nearly as high or long... but I love to get sideways and vertical as often as possible.

As cool as the whip is, a well executed "bubba-scrub" is even sweeter! This is a racing move though... keep it as low and flat as possible for maximum speed. Not really made for TV the way a huge whip is, but looks really cool nonetheless!

Rubber side down? Ya, I ride an mtb like a roadie... I wish I had half the sack and skill these guys had (Wait, there were some gals there too that have more sack than me) but I am older and in touch with my mortality!
