In the considerable discussions of late about malfeasance in cycling, a number of discussions have gotten quite heated, in part, I believe, because forumites have not always clearly understood what another was saying, or trying to say. For those interested in these kinds of communication issues, I recommend, or for those of you who know about it, remind about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The basics can be found here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator

It is particularly useful in understanding whether one is communicating in a constructive manner. If not familiar with the system, it is recommended.

Use MB for teaming at work so each is aware of others styles and how they process info - for me, just give me the abbreviated version of the presenting problem - can't deal with the long winded.

Oh good, now we can all come here to be psychoanalyzed.

I think all of us are IJITs.

I'm an SOB. I've been called that for years, but I don't see it on the chart. Hmm...

An ISFP ! an unusual person, IIRC. I discovered MB only a decade and a half ago. It has been most useful for an INTP.
