I purchased a NOS campy cassette for the wheels i purchased last week. my main interest is the 13-26 cassette itself, but there appears to be a bonus. I am wondering what you think of the addl pieces. Here is the add line:

here is in auction a new old stock cassette record 8v 13-26 + the 14 and 28 upgrade kit made in france by GIULIET this kit is exadrive as the cassette.replace the 13 and 14 with the GIULIET and you'll climb mountains

i am not familiar with giuliet. will someone please fill me in?

will my RD(8 speed record) be able to handle 28 teeth and would you recommend using these cogs?

Thanks,
k

K,

I don't know anything about GIULIET. But they are listed as an exhibitor on the International Bicycle Exhibition website. The link for the website is posted below:

http://www.eicma.it/en/espositori2003.asp?ArticlePath=8%2D474%2D541%2D&lettera=G&espositore=B

The website lists the contact info for Giuliet as follows:

GIULIET - BOERIS ANGELO E FIGLIO S.R.L.
011/341112
lboeris@tin.it

Perhaps they can help you. Good luck.

Kevin

Oh come on now, non of you have played around with putting a bigger gear than a 26 on an 8 speed setup?

Not one of you has heard of this crazy french company?

I find it hard to believe with all the racing and wrenching experience on this list that no one has a clue...

Thanks,
K
