One day to go for my Cycle NC ride. Ahhhhg!!!
Training 200 miles + a week for five weeks now, and I still have butterflies in my stomach! I should be ready now.

:help: Anyone have a set of bionic legs I can borrow this week?

If could get rid of these pesky bugs I would feal better!

Wish me luck

Scooter - please post a ride report when you get back. It's going to be a fun time. My daughter moved to Greensboro two years back, I enjoy the area and am considering moving to the area, or maybe Ashville, myself.

Stupid me,

Cycle NC is a 7 day ride across the North Carolina State.
http://www.ncsports.org/cncevent1.php

The ride starts in the NC Mts for the first four days then ends at the coast.
The first year's ride was 740 miles this years ia little more than 400.

This year there are 1200 riders, should be quite fun.

BB Dave, whe are you coming down this way?

Sounds like a beautiful ride. Check out the picturtes on the website--maybe that will help your butterflies. It looks like a fun week of riding.

Scooter01, are you riding the entire journey or, picking up a portion? I wish I were able to make it, even a portion, but just can't this year due to other travel. It's on my schedule for next year though. As has been mentioned, be sure to post a ride report. The weather should be beautiful.

. . .I will come down that way as soon as you are done with your ride. Then you will be exhausted and I will be able to keep up with you.

Seriously, though, I am off work next week, but my $1400 vacation just turned into $1400 of car repairs. This is annoying, but it also proves to me once and for all that my car IS a sentient being and IS posessed by the Devil himself, who hates me.
