I remember her from my teens or maybe twenties. She was quite well known athlete/hero type. I read up on her a little when I heard she was attempting to swim the florida strait last year. I always thought she was an olympian but apparently not. This is her fourth or fifth attempt with the first dating back like 30 years. It is apparently a monstrous swim in and of itself just given the distance, like 103 miles or there about but apparently you are really at the mercy of changing currents and winds and of course marine life. This would be an epic feat for anyone so I really hoping she makes it. She seems to be a class act.

GMA said she's been pulled out of the water. Had something like 40 miles left.

Can't somebody create a jellyfish-proof suit and something for her head?

Her mission is for us all to chase our dreams and not waste your life sitting on the sidelines, she is young in mind and soul.
Jellyfish. I know about them it is intense pain how she kept swimming shows her courage .
