Thinking about buying the 34/48 crankset from ribble. Curious if folks have tried them and what their thoughts are? I've seen a few places selling these, but I've seen them described as taking both 110 or 107mm bottom brackets, and not sure which one to use.

Finish on the face is nice, back side is rough. Functions and shifts perfectly with campagnolo 10s. 107mm BB is what I use - JIS only.

I liked it cause the 48 ring was better looking on the Stronglight than the 48 that came on the similar Sugino. Have no clue what size bb I used.

I have one with the black chainrings that I ran on a Surly CrossCheck for a couple years using a 110 mm bottom bracket. It's now on a partially built touring/utility frame (really need to finish that - thanks for the reminder). I concur on the finish issue - front is nice, back is rougher. I was surprised how nice the rings are for the cost.

Stronglight makes great stuff. Same with TA.
