Here is my entry once again into the world of steel. This time, a light steel, with Carbon to boot. The ride is exceptional!

Wow! That's absolutely beautiful! I love it!

But you're missing one of these!

Have one of those. Went with the Boreas for a lighter build. I will use the Carve during the winter. Thanks.

that is one slick looking bicycle. generally speaking, i dont really care for mixed material bikes, but this one looks very well executed to me. keep us posted on how it rides.

i'm building up a columbus spirit bike right now, and am very impressed with the way the tubeset feels so far, though i havent ridden it yet.

I think they put the rear stays on backwards....

Looks like it's backwards......but also kool & cool to me. Columbus made for Cinelli.

Not backwards. Those can only be assembled one way.

Great looking bike and build. I built one exactly like that for a club member late last year and she loves it. I have a Spirit/carbon bike myself and the ride is sweet, however, Spirit is not the lightest steel available. I believe True Temper S3 is currently the lightest steel available unless something else has come along. I also have an S3 build with carbon rear triangle that is much lighter than my Spirit build. We also used a couple Spirit tubes in our tandem build.

That dark grey/carbon coloration just looks rich, stealthy and fast. Nice build.
