I have a Salsa Cromoto Quill stem like the one they recalled on my bike. Not sure if it has the hash mark on the inside clamp surface but I have always wondered if I should remove and replace it with another quill stem due to the potential of a hazard which it may possess. If I do replace I'd go with a Nitto quill stem.
