Or you could always use the oven cleaner trick to remove the black anodizing where there is no bartape..

I like the Nitto 176 Dream Bars a lot. Rivendell and Jitensha Studios sell them. It's a traditional Maes shape with a medium drop. Polished aluminum, engraved crest, it just doesn't get any better than this.

You can see them pretty well in these photos: http://www.freewebs.com/palincss/ or here:

Nitto makes an 'STI' model which is of course 'ergo' shaped--which personally I prefer--and it is a very cool gray/pewter color. Pics as soon as I take soome of my newly built up Atlanta (riding it 100 miles tomorrow in Portland's LiveStrong ride.)

Deda 215s also come in a frosty silver which is nice too.

thanks--just ordered it, great find.

Is there a way to get those graphics off components without messing up the finish?

Palincss, thanks for the tip--I like the engraving as well. Went with the Deda for the double-grooves though. Beautiful bike, btw.

I've never tried it, but rubbing alchohol might work if the logos are silk screened.

.

I have used the wife's nail polish remover. It worked great.
