Hi all, I have a frameset that is currently equipped with an FSA Omega alloy crankset, using press-in bearings in the frame.
I need to replace the cranks. Will a 5600 series 105 crankset work OK with those press-in bearings?
Thanks!!

I am guessing the press in bearings are BB30, but could be BB86, or PF30... etc. depending on the the frame. What make/model/year is your frame? I think first you need to find out what type of Bottom bracket the bike has, and then find out what adapters will make the 105 cranks work.

Wheels Manufacturing makes all kinds of adapters for making non-oversized cranks work in oversized bearings.

This is the exact bike:

The press in cups say BB AL 86.

Both are 24mm spindle(like the Gossamer) and Gossamer can use shimano BBs..I'd say probably yes. I see that the frame is BB86, but the 'hole' should be 24mm...

The Omega's I believe use FSA's 19mm spindle, if that is the case you will need to get the right BB86 cups to fit for your 105 crank. Measure the crank spindle to be sure. If your omega's are 19 you need a new BB, if they are 24 you should be ok.

Thx, will measure it tonight.
